if i replace my reg. fan with an electic will i have to change the pully for clearance or just remove the blades? i am getting a thin one from zirgo. i have no cooling problems i just think getting rid of the fan will enhance the perfomance maybe a little and get rid of the ting ting sound i hear periodically. comments?????? ron

IT JUST DEPENDS ON HOW DeeP YOUR NEW FAN SITS. ALOT OF THE TIME YOU CAN JUST REMOVE THE FANS AND YOU WILL BE GOOD. i RECOMEND REPLACING THE PULLEY IF YOU CARE ABOUT PREFORMANCE. THAT WAY YOU TAKE OFF AS MUCH WEIGHT AS POSSIBLE AND that way it actually makes it worth the time and effert to replace the fan. you engines not spinning something useless

I don,t understand Dusty what you mean by replaceing the pully. Is a water pump useless?

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.
