I was a general contractor for 20 years and now I am a domestic engineer and stay home with my twin girls and run an online tropical fish business. When my last Fhord (sorry) truck blew up I needed a play truck. I had noticed an AD at a burger joint like 10 years ago when my dad was visiting from Europe. That is what I wanted. I found one on the Stovebolt in 2001 10 years after seeing that truck at the restaurant. On my dad's most recent visit we went to the same burger joint and the same truck was there again. By now it was all painted and nice. I parked mine right next to it.

I worked on a golf course in high school and drove around their '54 1/2 ton. What a great rig! Came in one day and found they had junked it because it wouldn't start! Took me a long time to track down another one.
Don't read the directions, that'd be too easy.

1) 48 years young. 2) Tanker Truck driver for major oil company, 23 years. 3) Bought 62 half ton 4 years ago and drove it everyday to work and back. Engine finally quit and will be replaced with BB 454. Have all the parts ready to go. Put on hold for needed foot surgery and rehab. Like me, "we can make it better than it was before."

I bought my first 3/4 ton GMC truck project in 1996, but soon realized it was closer to dirt than a truck. So, I bought the current 3/4 ton GMC truck project in early winter of 1999 and have been working on it almost every day since.
