The good thing is there are lots of parts for AD design trucks/panels out there if you got the time and patience. For a moment there I thought you had a picture of mine before I started on it but then mine didn't have weeds growing inside It looks like its been stripped inside of the glovebox door, ash tray, speaker grille and guages are probably shot. With all the damage I see on the outside I think 1000 for what we see is to much...just my opinion, but it you have spare panels that you have enough good stuff between them its now your decision. I think it will take a while but with time....and money, it can be done. This is all just my opinion. Now if you do not buy it please take off the inside curved wood slats and send them to me... At least the right side Let everyone know what you decide! | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 30 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 30 | Those two in the pictures are not 1000, there is a one ton in a local paper which I forgot to link you guys to. it is a '51 with what appears to be a tad of rot on the side, and I could use the other trucks to patch up with I guess. here is the ad. it is not shown on that page, but it is a "or best offer" thing. I am going to sell my snowmobile and try to get it. | | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 275 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 275 | On you're last picture what was that a Dually panel or why are the inside wheel tubes so wide? or is it the angle of the picture that makes it look like that?

I did not really want to get my head too close to the ground, seems how there is broken glass and bee hives hidden all over the place. | | | | Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 55 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 55 | "but original is the way things belong."
Hey I like the way you think that is exactly the way I feel. But, I have a 1 ton panel project that has stalled because I cannot find brake parts, 8 lug brake drums etc. Alot of choices/retrofits for 3100, not so plentiful for 3600, but from all the searching I've done they are availble $$$. Also, beware of any panels missing the curved back(barndoor) glass. These are getting very hard to find, if not impossible. I got lucky and found one, but it was pretty pricey and since then I have been keeping a search out for spare one just in case, with no luck. Said you work in the junkyard if thats the case maybe parts won't be a problem. If its chock full of vintage bolts!

Yeah, if you have a 1/2 tonner | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 30 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 30 | The truck has singles, not duals. The picture has the weird effect for some reason... | | |
