Posted this in the "Doors" section first but got no replies. Where can I buy window seals for the windows in the back barn doors? Looked in Steele Rubbers online catalog but didn't really see them listed. The windows are the only ones of all 14 that aren't broken, cracked or cloudy. I can use them over. They are the only ones also that are not flat glass. Finding them might be a real pain. Weeds

I used panel-body rear-door window seals from Jim Carter(WI1371). These types of rubber channels tend to dry out and shrink after they are installed. Do not cut it too short (on purpose, I cut it too long) and keep it dressed with a non-silicone-based rubber dressing.

I neede rear quarter window seals for my nash sedan.I looked high and low with no luck. I mailed one with a letter to steeles. They did a very nice job matching it to something I was able to modify. The end result looked very nice and I was happy they took the time to set me up....my 2 cents

Weeds,

If you want the best, as red58 suggests, check out Steele Rubber Products. It looks like the part number is 60-0380-81 ($77.80 per pair).

Thanks Tim, Bill and 1916 signal for the advice on Steele. I will call them on the seals. This Stovebolt is such a great place to get that hard to find information that the uninformed like me needs to get my sub back on the road. Thanks again guys. Weeds

Weeds, check out the swap meets that they attend, you may be able to get what you want from them there.

SWAP MEETS

Don't forget that there is a pretty good list of swap meets event calendars in the EVENTS section. Check out MARCH and APRIL

It looks like there may be one in your area coming up. You can take a sample and some pictures to them, maybe they can come up with something that will work.

GMONIZ, Thanks for the swap meet suggestion. Its a good one. I will take the old seal with me to Spring Jefferson here in Wisconsin and see what I can come up with. Weeds
