I just finished the Gallery page for Cory Nolen\'s 1952 . Sweet truck!

Kinda funny. The one just before this (another Cory), his wife had "the look" when he brought the old Stovebolt home. Cory Nolen's wife SUGGESTED he get an old 'Burb!

And Cory is one of our "old guys" ... he's been here quite a while (# 1814) (There's a Johnny Horton song by that title grin ) ... in 1814 we took a little trip, along with Colonel Jackson down the mighty Mississipp wink )

Now if you're in a Kansas City suburb. And we were just in Kansas City for the Reunion. Does this mean that we probably saw your truck there at the Nationals?

Anyway. Thanks for sending in the good write-up and info. Maybe you'll get a chance to send us something in about the '54 -- if you still have it.

Oh, and check Cory's email address "oldtrucksrule" ... too kewl!

Thanks,
Peg

Peggy, I have had the pleasure of meeting Cory and his wife Jamie a couple of weeks ago at a truck club meeting we had . He drove his nice old Burb out to the meet to give us all a look. It is a great old truck for sure and has a n awesome history. Something I wish I could come up with for mine. The Nolens are very nice folks for sure. I suspect they will try to make to the NAtionals next year. I have some Burb competition now!! grin eek I better get busy!!

I need to hammer on Mike T. and get him to get his rig on the road Too. Mike is holding a pair of Burbs over at his place. I think he knows where more are at too! Isn't that right Mike? wink
