Do the "rollers" that run on the window channel actually roll or do they just slide in the groove in the bottom of the channel. Looks to me like they slide.
I'm thinking of using door window channel for the rear windows in my burb. ('46)The door channel is not long enough to go the length of the glass but there is plenty of room for the roller travel. Do you think this will work? The glass will stick out beyond the channel about 2 or 3 inches.
Door window channel is available but the rears are not.

The trouble is it's gonna cost me about $250 for the tracks even if they don't work. I think I'm like most - I don't mind spending money but I don't like wasting it!
