I believe hell must have frozen over today! I have read story after story of interesting parts & pieces found at various yards, but thought I don't have any old yards near me. Anyway, I went to the lowest common denominator, U-wrench, Cavaliers R Us yard today, looking for parts to fix my kid's latest bangeroo. While heading for the foriegn section, I passed the pick-ups. Scanning for a familiar roofline, as we all do, I saw the rusted brow of a Task Force. It was a big bolt, but I figured may as well check it out. Turned out to be a former wrecker for the yard, a '58 GMC 300 with what looked like the original 6 and 4 speed. But on the rusted beyond belief cab was a pristine set of SS windshield trim and the deluxe cab trim. The only piece not there was the lower drivers side back of cab. The rest was straight and clean. I had to stand on the valve cover to cut out the windshield, but it all came off without a struggle. I am only a little ashamed to admit that I got it all for $5 Keep looking, you never know. And if you happen to find the driver side lower cab back trim for a TF, message me
