They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne SuperIn the Gallery Forum | | | | | Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 21 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 21 | What about Classic Parts of America? | | | | | Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 Riding in the Passing Lane | | Riding in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 | Very good. The only difference is service from the various vendors, and price, which also varies some from vendor to vendor. Good service from Classic Parts, and American Classic. Probably best prices (and worst service) is from Truck Shop. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,867 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,867 | The Filling Station is a great place, they actually know how to work on the vehicles and can give advice if you have issues. http://www.fillingstation.com/ Ive tried parts from quite a few of the vendors and they are by far my favorite. The kind of stuff you are looking for, I've found best quality at Chevs of the 40s, but that's probably because I've gone to their store front and chosen my parts. Proximity does make a difference both in being able to see before buying, and the speed with which shipped parts arrive.

Some have stuff the other one doesn,t & sometimes there is a large variation in price. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. It has been my experience the best looking chrome parts are the ones I have had rechromed not the reproductions that never seem to fit just right and never seem to weather too much weather. My 2 cents...
