American Classic sponsors this websight & is a good place to buy parts.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

Reproduction parts, you will find, are all the same. The only difference is service from the various vendors, and price, which also varies some from vendor to vendor.
Good service from Classic Parts, and American Classic. Probably best prices (and worst service) is from Truck Shop.

The Filling Station is a great place, they actually know how to work on the vehicles and can give advice if you have issues.

Ive tried parts from quite a few of the vendors and they are by far my favorite.

I've been happiest with LMC and most disappointed by Classic Parts or America, formerly Chevy Duty.

The kind of stuff you are looking for, I've found best quality at Chevs of the 40s, but that's probably because I've gone to their store front and chosen my parts. Proximity does make a difference both in being able to see before buying, and the speed with which shipped parts arrive.

You have to have several catalogs. Some have stuff the other one doesn,t & sometimes there is a large variation in price.

Shiny stuff you say??? It has been my experience the best looking chrome parts are the ones I have had rechromed not the reproductions that never seem to fit just right and never seem to weather too much weather. My 2 cents...
