hi im justin aka 53 chev. i just joined this site last night after visiting for a few weeks. i am in the starting stages of a resto rod project of my 53 chev 3100. i will have many questions. today;s plan on the old girl is installing my toyota steering box matted to the original straight axle and a firebird tilt colum.any way thought i would introduce myself. hope to make new freind here everyone seems real cool.

i do plan on posting pics. i went wit the yota box because i dont have the original, long srory. and i want power steering and a tilt colum i thought the install would be eaiser but i was wrong i had to make a mad dash to astoria oregon to get fender well headers i had down there. so i can know where to mount the box hopefully tommorow.

Welcome to the Bolt! What kind of motor are you running that needs "fender well headers"?

im going to have a 383 stroker. and i thought the fender well headers would be cool to have. im trying to make the truck like a old school hotrod. i even found a new in the box duntov 30-30 solid lifter cam for it. the guy i bought it from said he got it in the early 70's.
