Since I put new kingpins, and radials on, it steers so easy, I figure I can go to a smaller steering wheel - just for looks. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 926 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 926 | I used a wheel and horn ring from a '64 chevelle on my '53 GMC,it worked okay. It put the wheel rim a little higher than I really wanted,but it fit okay. You might look at a 70's Camaro wheel or something like that-they don't have as much "dish". GM's splines were the same for a lotta years,so there's a lot of possibilities.

I'd suggest a '57 or earlier because of the dish issue, although any wheel from about '70 up will be relatively shallow, bu might look odd in a '50s truck.
