For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 170 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 170 | Hi all. It's been a while since I have asked a question.. but always thinking of you all!
Question: I'm trying to get the dash together, wiring and all. I have a 1" diameter hole at the upper left side of the dash above the light switch and don't have a clue what goes there. I guess it could be a modification from the standard dash, but don't think so. Anyone have an idea? Same size as the cigarette lighter, but I think the cigarette lighter goes next to the choke.

The 40-46 dashes did not come from the factorey with a hole in that area. Your truck looks great. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 1,682 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 1,682 | That truck is T&A, man! Good job!
As to your mystery hole.. i'm of the same opinion as Rusty46.. you shouldn't have no factory hole above the light switch.
an idea is only stupid if you think about it rationally.
