I attended the 2007 ATHS National Convention in Colorado Springs a couple of weeks ago. I got a chance to meet Grigg and Cletis while I was there and had a good time talking to them. I also had fun looking at all the trucks; from little to huge and a lot in between. Some from manufacturers that I've never heard of before (the Jarrett Truck Company of Colorado Springs for instance).

Anyway, I took a ton of pictures (there's even one of Grigg and Cletis) and wanted to share them with everyone, just click the link below. In amongst the Chevy and GMC specimens there are Ford, International, Sterling, and several others along with some interesting trailers and equipment, so if you don't want to look at those, just skip 'em. As far as I'm concerned; it's old American Iron so it's all good. If you notice any mistakes in the names and/or designations, please don't blame me, I just took the information off the sheet in the window. I'm also sure I missed a couple of Chevys or GMCs but that's the way it goes; I was walking around for 4 hours. I took several pictures of the parking lot to give a feel for just how many trucks were on display.

There are 84 pictures in the album, so sit back and Enjoy, I know I did! grin

Thanks for posting them, Jim. I still haven't gotten around to sorting mine out. I took over 200 shots. I was in awe. I've never seen so many trucks in one place in my life.

Pleased to have the opportunity to meet you in person.

It was a great show.
Also good to meet Jim and cletis.
It took about 360 pictures, there were a lot of interesting trucks there. I think it was almost 700.

Great pictures!! Thanks for putting them up.

As a sidenote for those who are not ATHS members--one of the perks of belonging, is that you get a copy of their "Showtime" book, which features color photos of every truck in attendance at the show. They used to charge $20.00 for it, but they raised the membership price a few years ago, and now you get it free. It's a neat thing to have.

I saw some of the individual pictures of the trucks; very nice. I can't wait to get the book.

Glad everyone's enjoying the pics. I had a great time walking around and taking them.

Also, one of those 36 1.5 tonners is for sale from my talk with the owner. I think he said $18K. He did a nice job, too. But I figured more than half the fun is doing the work myself, or at least that's what I told myself.

My favorite of the whole show was the 56 GMC wrecker.

Very nice. Thanks. Man, those solid rubber tires must have been rough!
