TooMany2count... actually I did but let the engine make the sounds. That's why you see the belt loose. The radiator should be mounted tomorrow and I can really do some Vroooom stuff.

LOL! Ooooh-weeee! That color, and the silver trim, just blows me away, man! How exciting it is to see her coming together ... I can just see you going down the road -- man, oh man, are heads gonna turn!

Thanks for all the nice comments about the project. It has truly been exciting to finally be getting this truck back to where it should be, after so many years of neglect. I'm now worried about what I'll be doing when its finished, but hopefully will driving it across country on my adventure.

The color came out nice and does catch the eye. There will be a scarlet pinstripe applied in the middle of the silver band which will be the final touch. I heard from my painter that Redgreen was down to take a look at his truck and one look at mine said "that's the color I want!" Since he lives a couple of hours away I guess I can live with that LOL (how about it Dave?)

I took the running boards to the Line-X shop Friday and should have them back tomorrow. I'm hoping that the fenders will be done by the middle of the week and they will get the Line-X treatment also.

The Radio is about the only thing I'm still waiting for (until I find something else, of course). D&M Restoration has had it for about 3 months now.

Also, thanks for the kind comments about my work. I wish I could take credit, but my involvement has been technical adviser, parts research and procurement, decision maker, and buck passer (my hand to their's) ohwell wink .

I hope Red Green isn't going to make a firetruck, a one-horse open sleigh, or a snowplow out of his! He should stick to demolishing K-cars for that!
But your cab looks GREAT! Wish I had the time and money to do a full resto on my C-30, but I think it is just going to be my farm truck for quite some time to come. Good Job Don!
