Has anyone dealt with them before.. How do there panels fit? I need inner feners for my 55. Do they line up alright. How is the chrome on there parts... Is there another company I should deal with? Thanks for the help..

I can only speak for the chrome parts..........
theyre pretty much all the same from all the distributors. Its all done overseas,,only lasts for a year or two.
Buy the parts non chromed,and have them plated yourself. Itll cost you more but youll only cry once.

The best chrome work is triple chrome. Very expensive but excellent workmanship.

I live just a few minutes away from them. I'd rather drive miles farther and deal with The Truck Shop or buy from Jim Carter or one of the others on line. Classic's prices are higher and they are quite arrogant. My neighbor restoring his Malibu has expressed a high level of dissatisfaction with them. He says the locals have done too many of those hot rod tv shows and think they're all that and a bag of chips...
The guys are quite right about chrome. The mirrors and stuff I've bought maybe a year ago are already in bad shape. El cheapo.

Prices from LMC and Classic Parts are competitive , some higher some lower ,actually Classic Parts beat LMC in a lot of what I compared, as for the quality ??... I will have to wait to evaluate , NOW my truck wont be a daily driver and see inclement weather ..so I hope the chrome on the grill and front bumper hold up , but I understood when i purchased them that they certainly were manufactured overseas and that the quality of some items may be low , that is why i tried to go with Stainless on every thing i could , but the grill and front bumper ...just state "chrome" in there item decription ...not triple plate or anything so i am sure it is cheap from either company .
I am sure that ANY repro part is not of the quality of OM , but what are WE to do ..?.. ya cant go to the local Chevy dealer and get the parts you want ...an used parts if ya can see get em at a swap meet or local where you can evaluate em , may not be any better in condition than what
have on hand when they arrive ? PICTURES on the net are deceiving .

Your better off finding OEM parts, cleaning them up and painting them.. Ive bought a few things from the vendors mentioned above that lined up horrible !! and still having to go and find OEM 56 year old parts (from Detroit ) That fit perfect !!

And as far as the chrome parts... Do as Marty said... "Buy the parts non chromed,and have them plated yourself. It'll cost you more but you'll only cry once."
