I'd like to still be able to haul the occasional piece of furniture, lumber, etc. without destroying the finish on my new bed. I saw a rubber liner for 1960-??? on Jim Carters website, but nothing for older trucks. I've checked all of the sites that I know, but can't find one for anything older than 1960.

Worked for me but did have a tendency to slip a little with the carpeted side down. You might try Lowe's or Home Depot for a length of hall runner type rubber material also.
