just thought i'd post some pics of a 58 big window i picked up on friday. picked it up near amarillo from porboy298 and drove home. a long one day trip but no problems.
58 chevy

we also stopped at this junkyard we saw on the way and wondered around for about an hour. here's some pics of that. junk yard
i cant remember exactly where it was but if anyone wants to know i could look it up and tell you.
anyway it was a fun trip always good when you bring a new one home. grin

also im only going to be using the cab on this so if you need some parts or a frame i probably have it. it has a nice factory chrome grille in great shape. ill post it in the parts section too.

Nice pictures. Good to hear that your trip went off without any trouble. Lots of nice stuff at that junk yard. I could see myself spending a few hours there. Wish it was a little closer to me.

The name of the yard is Owens Salvage. They are not open on weekends so plan accordingly.

Looks like you had a blast. Nice 59(Keep us updated on your progress grin )and that wrecking yard cool has got to be a little piece of heven on earth. We had a lot of yards like that around here untill a few years ago, then suddenly they all got rid of thier old stuff. frown Now none of them whant anything in thier yards more than about 5 years old. eek A lot of good stuff lost to the crusher when that happend.

Cool yard of "merchandise". What kind of prices does he get for some of that old stuff. Like the gas station too.

Holy Cow! Slam on the brakes. If I was passing that treasure yard by my poor wife would have bounced off the dash board and would have gotten whip lash turning in to the place.
