Perro - ideas are mostly find a donor tank, mount it between the rear frame rails, figure how to put a filler thru the floor or fender, patch the filler hole in the cab .... which most seem to think is more work than it's worth grin

moving the tank is one of the more common things discussed here - try a forum search

Perro,

I've done it both ways. I have the original behind-the-seat tank re-mounted at the front of the bed. It wasn't all that difficult . . . unless you're somewhat lazy. I sure like the cab room I now have. I have a second 25 gal, fuel tank mounted behind the rear axle with the filler opening at the back of the bed. You may have to use air-lift shocks to keep that fuel tank from dragging when full. They're cheap.
Good luck!

I moved the tank on my 46 to under the bed, just moved back to original spot. I had rigged the stock filler from side of cab, through floor into new tank inside frame. Had trouble filling the tank this way so be sure to have a filler door somewhere near the tank. Have seen little flip up lids in the wooden floor, etc.
