I have (had) a Non-GM heater in my truck when I got it. I was planning on putting in a GM, but figured I would try to get this one going before trying a different route.

I tried the fan motor with a ground on the heater frame and using jumper cables to the lead wires coming out of the motor...no go. Even when it was wired up in the truck, it did not work.

I took the whole thing a part and have the motor out..the electric motor is marked Redmond.
Is Redmond the heater brand or just the motor?

I would post a pic, but it is now in a several pieces...no tags, it does have defroster mode. The heater core does not line up with GM holes so some time in the past, nasty holes were made for it to fit..it would be easier to use the heater core I have...
