Well long story short that battery is still in the truck and it still runs and drives 2.5 YEARS LATER!!!!!!!!!!!!! So needless to say everything i own has Omptima in it. I just looked through all my pictures and i don't have one of it so mayby when i get my camera back from my brother i take a pic of it. 1950 Chevy 31001982 Jetta Diesel 1994 Chevrolet K1500 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix 2001 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 No honey, I don't NEED more toys I just need something fast enough to do something stupid in.

I posted another thread about our meeting, and your coming through with a battery for me.
It was great to meet you this last Sat. And, I do truly appreciate the battery.
MANY THANKS!
Have several people in the Brighton area that would like one. Let me know, if you're interested, and/or able to help any of them out. | | | | Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 46 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 46 | I have an issue with a battery in a - gulp - Fiat. The battery drools like orchidskip said. It might be that after charging it is still bubbling up but I dont think so. When I last replaced the battery I pondered putting in an Optima because of the "leak-proof" reputation, but thought that if I'm getting too much out of the alt or whatever the problem really is, it might just puff up or worse yet - pop!! Anyone out there have any thoughts on that. I will say that when I put a new battery in the '59 Apache 4WD, it will be a red top, and I'll hold it in with something other than cable ties!! Jeff
