I have been a member for a while and finally got off my backside and added a coulpe of pics my truck to the gallery of all the great bolts there. If you haven't checked out the gallery in a while I suggest doing so. There are alot of great looking trucks out there.
We call that truck our Got Wood truck. I've seen trees growing up though the wheels of tractors, but never on truck parts. Whats really amazing is this truck has no rust in it at all. the only thing it has is some surface rust in places around it. I havent had time to get it running yet with the big bolt project, but some time soon we'll pull it in and go though her get it back out on the road again, with the wood intact.
Thanks again Peg and everyone!! Cool bunch of old trucks. Interesting stories too. What about that tree growing around the mirror arm?! Don't change that. :p

Been enjoying this site for a long time, finally got some pics together to put up there for my panel truck.
One project looking forward that i forgot to mention is that I'm going to upgrade the interior storage space so that it's all sheathed in woods from the South Pacific. I've been collecting mahogany, teak, even bamboo, and will be using these materials to make the storage area look a great deal homier. My wife and I use the truck to camp along the coast and search for waves, so I'm going to make the ol' truck a bit more seaworthy!
Whoa! Wow. You've got to go back and see Jim Justice's 1933 Chevy 1.5-Ton . He's been in Hawaii ( ) and he just gave us some more history on the '33. This is really a great story. Just sent a note and hoping to get a few more pictures.
