I am in desperate need of the bars that spread to engage the brake shoes thus setting the parking brake. I really don't know what they are called. I have tried Chevy Duty but the operators don't or can't seem to help me. My truck is a 1949 Chevy AD 1/2 ton. Please let me know if anyone can help me. Please email me at [email protected] Thank you so much.  eek

The part is called an equalizer bar. they allow for the parking brake arm to push on both shoes at the same time.
