Anyone had any contact with Jim Carter Classic Truck Parts lately? I’m interested in some of their catalog items but they have failed to respond to 3 e mails

Call on the phone and ask for Julie, she seems to be the most helpful of the bunch. They have been backordered on darn near every item I have wanted lately.

Most of the vendors that sell parts online have little understanding of what email is meant for, other than sometimes sending out a invoice using email, but that is about it usually.

If you need an answer, the phone is usually the way to go.

I just bought some door bottom repair parts online and got a discount for ordering them over the net. I am happy with the service and quick delivery. Not tried the fit yet but they look good.

I'll second Bob Wade's post. I bought a couple of parts for the bed of my truck and got them in VERY short order. Very professionally packed and first rate quality.

Keep bugging them 'til they tell ya what you wanna hear!

I just bought some stuff from them the other day. I got my stuff and most of it is currently on the truck. I haven't got the gas sender float on yet, but give me time... grin

I usually call them if I'm wondering about a part; it seems to be the fastest. They do eventually get back to you via email if you ask questions that way, though.

They're also having a sale right now for orders from their online store. FYI.

We have gotten several dollars in parts from them for about six to eight months. Some times they run out of things, but we always get it in a couple of weeks. Just to compare, my first order and my last of four from Chevy duty was full of back ordered stuff. They all made good on the orders. I've never had a case where either one wouldnt answer my emails.

I've spent maybe $200 in various parts with JC and I'm using email from Australia. Packaging, delivery and service are all first class and I will continue to patronise their business.
