Here it is

That is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Think, you could build a TON of completely restored stovebolts with that money.

I didn't see any obvious way to start a new topic. I'm trying to find out what a 1956 GMC 150 with a 343 V8 & Hydromatic Trany is worth. The engine and trans #'s match, and the interior is original "looking". The body is in great shape except for a little rust around the 1/4 panels. Lots of good chrome! Step-side with wrap rear window - oak bed in perfect shape.

Looks like the price got too high for the owner...

I wonder if the hood is wobbly, opening from the front like that?

I'd probably sell my '54 3100 for $100,000 less than that. Mine is being prepared for the Hot Rod Power tour and is very similar to that one, except it isn't on a frame, the motor is still in the donor car, the cab is still stock and I'm storing the interior in another truck. And maybe one or two other differences...

But I do own mine free and clear!

I like it, Stupid waste of $ but fun to look at.
I too would like some of that stuff on my truck when they part it out. They don't even guarantee it would be running.

Looks like the owner hired someone to built it and got behind on the payments, now the mechanic/builder is selling it to get his money.

I'd pay that for it if the bed were loaded with $115,000 in cash.
