Thank you.

The Topper is beautiful and the plaque to the Millimans is a "beautiful thing."

As it would happen. Only in Texas. The 55 Texas plates have the attachment holes wider than the current plates. So, I will have to make some sort of plate to adjust for the difference or attach the topper elsewhere. Currently I have it on the back step bumper. I will work on a solution.

Thanks again. It is a thing of beauty and joy.

It feels great to know that these lil' bits-o-sparkle are appreciated... Thanks guys...

I had a feeling some guys running YOM plates COULD run into that 'problem'. Most plates where standardized at that time, but obviously some states where marching to a different beat! grin

hey whizzerick - what's the best way to keep these jewels clean and pretty? Like, what stuff do we use on them and what stuff do we not use on them?

Maybe you should do a post:

my topper is lost out in the dirt roads of TEXAS. My poor THIN mailbox has not coughed up my toppers. frown

I have a spot for one on my 1959 Apache, and one for my 1952 Chevy Deluxe.

autoazore - the one in the picture is a one off... a 'thank you' to the 'dear editors' john and peg...

the rest of the toppers, is just the metal part - no plaque - and it bolts up to the top of the license plate on the 55 1st series and older trucks as the license plate bracket was off to one side originally...

look for shipwrights post(either in general truck or the spoon) on how he set his up his topper on his truck... he has some up close pictures.

p.s. maybe mine will get here one day... hehehe.

joker - I bet our toppers got specially tagged at customs... maybe we are on 'the list' and the President wants to know what we are getting from out of the country.

The FBI is prolly still trying to figure out what a stovebolt is...

Guys, I must appologize but I simply CAN NOT explain the discrepancy in shipping time... Keep in mind your toppers (Joker's & Woog's) where shipped AT THE SAME TIME as Tweak's, in the 'first Wave'...

A 'Second Wave Of Toppers" (8 toppers) hit the post office a week later and Stovebold in GERMANY already received his package! eek

That's Germany, EUROPE not Germany, Wisconsin...

I think that's just US customs thoroughly doing it's job.

Thanks for your patience,
whizzerick

Rick,

I got mine today. Upstate New York. Which is probably one of the closest locations to you.

Who knows how these things go once they leave your hands.

Thanks you for making them.

Greetings Rick,

I just received my topper this morning.

Selecting the "natural" topper, as you suggested, looks fantastic. I really like it!

My truck has now increased in value thanks to your craftsmanship.

Well done Rick....very well done! grin
