The PO put the tag in the middle, under the tailgate, so I made a magnetic bracet to hang it in the rear window. Thanks Wizzerick!

that is a good idea, may have to do the same as my rear tag is mounted in the center of the truck,, have not received mine yet,,,,, guess it takes awhile to cross Tx do you have one big magnet or two?

so I suspose you prefer the back rather then the front lic plate, I could mount mine on the front but I will to wait and see,, is your real glass dark, mine is pretty dark so it may be hard to see from the rear,,, you do have a good idea though,, regards..Fred

Thanks guys. I just used one strong magnet used to pick up loose screws on the end of a broom handle. I cut a bracket out of sheet metal and it screws on throught the center of the magnet. I got about $10 in it. My front plate has an old car surround on it. I would have to take that off and install the plate on another bracket which I may do sometime down the road.

O boy, I wish they had them too with 4 cylinders, but it's the stovebolt here, so I, and my truck, will have to live with it, maybe I'll make one, once my casting skills get better.

Looking at that first picture, it about looks like you could attach a bracket to the screw that holds the seat back also.

It would put it in the approximate/same location and might not move if you hit a big bump.

Of course that's probably too easy, and the person in the middle would smack their head on it, going over that same big bump.

No, it kinda rests on the rubber window seal. The sheet metal I used for the bracket bends pretty easily, so you can get it where ya want it. After some hard driving today, I found that it does not move. I was worried that it would, so I got the strongest magnet at the hardware store. No problems yet. Gotta get out and put some more miles on it and get back to you with solid report. That's a good idea about anchoring it to the seat bracket. I bet that would work.
