If I pull into a parking lot the bump hitting the ramp causes my foot to go forward and goose the throttle. I get about three of these jerks before it smooths out.
I have moved the seat forward and beefed up the throttle return spring. Am thinking of adding a throttle footrest like on my old jeep.
Any good ideas?

Some of these trucks have a different throttle pedal setup if the original engine was swapped for a V8. I usually just ride the clutch when I know it is going to happen. Making sure the motor mounts are new and the rear end lash isn't excessive helps.

I had a suburban that I used to do the same things in all the time. I corrected it by learning to take my foot off the gas when i was going over bumps. It was the cheapest soltion, and it only took a few weeks to relearn a new way.

when I read the title of this thread I thought maybe it had something to do with tailgaters or a kid with loud exhaust in your neighborhood :p
