Late twenties I guess, but I could be wrong, I took two pictures and walked further as you can see there are a few more there. Here\'s one. Here\'s the second. Thanks for the help Richard | | | | Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 1,158 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 1,158 | It almost looks like a Model A... A friend of my grandpa has one that looks like that. Of course, there's more of his present. I'm more interested in that Green Chevy Station Wagon in the background... | | | | Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 310 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 310 | If you like sightseeing and have a fast connection have a look here, drop me a note and when I go back I'll take some pictures of the cars/trucks you're interested in. By the way, Richard and I have talked to the owner of all those vehicles and he tells us that anything is forsale. | | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 428 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 428 | My guess is it's an old touring car someone cut down into a truck. By the shape of the cowl maybe early Dodge?

I'm with 51 above, I think it's a Dodge Brothers touring car that's been cut into a truck, or someone has cut the back half off for another car.

By the by its a Plymouth next to a rambler both green both station wagons.

That is a very interesting yard. | | | | Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 364 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 364 | "So they loaded up the truck and they moved to Beverly.........Hills that is, swimmin' pools, movie stars." I plan to mate it to the rear of a '23 Chevrolet touring to make a little 2 seater modified. I have 2 very strong Chev. smallblock 400's that will be joined with a coupling to make around 800 H.P. and 900 ft. lbs. torque. Should make lots of tire smoke. This in 4th in line of my car projects, first is my '55 GMC pickup, then the '32 Chevrolet pickup, next the '32 Chevrolet 2 door sedan (all inline powered) then the Dodge-Chev. I guess I'll have to live to 100 or so to get all of them done. | | |
