It ran so nicely I put on the new hubcaps to show it off. Got to the gas station, put in the non-ethanol stuff to be good to my baby, and it never sparked since I turned the key off. Driving it home on a tow rope wasn't my idea of fun. My post is up on the electrical board, but since you started it, I thought I'd whine and gripe. Thank you for allowing my grumbling...

I'm 99% sure it's fire related. I'm hoping to do some testing today.

Check to make sure you're getting power to ignition when key is in 'start' and 'run' positions. Force the coil to spark with a jumper wire from battery. Check ballast resistor and points with voltmeter/testlight. Check ign module if solid-state. Check grounds & primary circuit wiring. Check for fouled sparkplugs, make sure rotor is turning, check rotor position to TDC, etc.
good luck

Fiddled with it a little more and it snapped off. Cleaned and re-crimped the end, touched the starter and off we go. Drove the heck out of it with very satisfactory results. Thanks for the suggestions!!!
