Truck is running fine with one (or 100) little problems. Fuel leeks from the Throttle Flange Assembly. To be specific, from the butterfly pivot(?)at the front of the carb (rochester).
I don't see any way to dissasemble, no parts in my "Carb Rebuild Kit". Should I just buy an entire carb and be done with it?

Maybe some else will pose a good way for you to fix this common probem. I think that bushings in the carb body are needed on each side of the pivot. A new/rebuilt carb is a practical solution (you trade-in your old carb either as core-swap or to be a rebuilt). NAPA, Advance Auto, and Auto Zone (and other suppliers) might be able to supply a well-rebuilt carb.
Be careful having a (non-carb specialty) shop rebuild your carb - most just clean the carb and install the same kit that you have.
Do you want the name of a few good carb rebuilders (they are not cheap but the know what they are doing and they stand by their work).
I have not had good luck with rebuilt Rochester carbs from Jim Carter (but, he might not still sell them).

After you shut it off look down the throat. If any gas is dripping in you have a flooding problem & gas is building up around the trottle plate. It could be caused by a piece of dirt in the needle & seat or float level set to high. Check your float & make shure it does not have gas leaking into it.

The truck runs good and idles smoothly so I don't think it is flooding.
Tim, I would be interested in any good carb rebuilders, don't mind spending the dough for quality work! Lots of winter projects planned, might as well as add another one!
