Lookin good. Looks like the PO had a little Hot Rod in his blood. Cool valve cover. Only advice is; Clean up that work bench will ya? grin

Thanks for the pictures! Nice to see a shop as cramped and crowded as mine. Too bad I wasn't restoring a tricycle... takes less room!!

Actually, I added the valve cover when I replaced the 216 with a 1956 235. I've had the truck since '85.

And I've got a LOT of Hot Rod in my blood -- the truck's gonna get a 383!

Gee Shipwrite - I hopes ya never sees my pigstye of a shop. Never fails to amaze me how fast the parts pile builds when you are working and how fast the tools get spread about.

Looks like your making a lot of progess 3100. Even though these trucks are simple, it does take a lot of time to get where you are especially with old rusty fasteners.
