It took a week for a bull dozer and bob cat to dig it from the rubble and it kinda sorta survived. it was running and looking good but now I am back at square one. But, my wife's first words were "we have got to fix the truck, to hell with the house" LOL. Katrina has put my family thru a lot of stress but we will prevail. I lost seven cars and trucks in the tornado two years ago. What was my Dad's old '70 Ford F-250 (a slick truck!!!) was just a mound of metal, with the tailgate being the only salvageable body part. Even the radio got sucked out it's IN-dash mount!

A Build a house that would withstand a Cat 5 hurricane.

I had a friend bring a hauler down from Alabama and pick up the truck and he will build it for me in the future. Plan on rebuilding here on the coast if they will let us. Still waiting on the planning commission to make decisions and new building codes. I will load up some pic's in a few days.
