Had to grind on the axle bumpers a little to get the new U bolts to fit right. It drives real nice. I might put a little more caster shim in it, but all's well. Got em from Performance online. Got some multileaf drop springs for the rear coming next week . Prolly add a sway bar next, but the monoleaf has helped body roll. Just easier to install the springs rather than swap out all the king pins, springs, spindles, calipers, etc.. I would be interested to know if there are any issues with the caster shims and the new monoleafs. Will you be taking your truck to a front end shop for an alignment, or is this something you would do yourself?

I got it all together, set the toe in to about 1/8", took it for a ride and haven't touched it since. Drives great except for the bounce. The only thing I haven't done is center the steering wheel. Just a hair off. I did buy 3.5° caster shims but don't think I need em. I used the stock ones. I gotta put new axle bumpers on soon so I might try the 3.5° shims just to see if there is any improvement. | | |
