Meguiars (sp?) makes a fine plastic cleaner/polish.
That, an old school (clean) diaper and elbow grease make for a good looking lense.

I used to work for a sign guy and this is what we used on plastic or lexan sign panels to remove paint without ruining the face. I'll check into it on Monday.
