Wanting to learn more about the engine, suspension, etc. Are there any good books/websites you guys recommend (besdies this one)? My goal is to better understand what I got myself into and then how to improve hadnling & performance.

The shop manual is written in a pretty good form and is an easy read. A re-pop on the manual should be $20 or so. Check the parts suppliers for one.
Ask lots of questions here too.
