I've never known anyone to shorten the trailing arms. Not that it would be impossible, it's just not necessary or practical. | | | | Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 61 Member | Member Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 61 | i take it i should just buy new ones?? | | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 613 Member | Member Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 613 | i saw this in a magazine.you have to drill out the rivits to the crossmember those mount to and move it foward. | | | | Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 185 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 185 | Whew -- why don't you find yourself a short frame? They can still be found for relatively little. | | | | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 158 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 158 | BTW, that passenger side trailing arm looks pretty wonky to me. There shouldn't be any space between the two sides.
