You will need to remove length from the frame at a spot forward of where the trailing arms attach to the crossmember. I've never known anyone to shorten the trailing arms. Not that it would be impossible, it's just not necessary or practical.

i saw this in a magazine.you have to drill out the rivits to the crossmember those mount to and move it foward.

Whew -- why don't you find yourself a short frame? They can still be found for relatively little.

BTW, that passenger side trailing arm looks pretty wonky to me. There shouldn't be any space between the two sides.

i will have a short frame in a couple of weeks as soon as go drag it home (freebie)if you want to travel to arkansas youre welcome to it it has a cab and front clip on it but i am keeping the front clip and possibly the cab dont know for sure yet.

mcgee, i dont think theres any space between them, i think thats just the way i took the picture.

v6 - id love to take that off ur hands, but that would require WAY too much driving seeing as i live near DC. sorry.
