With all this good weather we're having down here in Texas, I think Spring has just about hit. What will you be working on this spring? I'm hoping on doing a lot of engine work. I've got hoses going who knows where and why. Also, half the stuffs broken in there. Need to get it fixed!

Your lucky we got 6 inches of snow this morning. And i was just starting to see some bare spots in my back yard. :mad:

Yeah, you're right Ray... I thought we were over the hump! But then again, my old Italian Grandfather used to call these spring snows "poor man's fertilizer"

It snowed here in Jersey last night ... but you wouldn't have known it by 10 am ... Spring it getting ready to burst here in a week or two -- and, boy oh boy, I sure can't wait!

I'm hoping to get to my interior this year -- first, new seats (from the junk yards), then carpet, console, hand-stitched leather (vinyl) panels, etc., etc.

we had absolutely no snow last week here in Alberta, then over the last few days we got a record of one foot of snow!!!!

I wanna get my truck roadworthy!!!!!

There is a storm creeping up on us that will hit late this evening. This is after the foot of snow we had a couple of weeks ago. Its supposed to be in the high 70's next week though. The stovebolt keeps chugging on.

Hey Ralph, Got back from Amarillo this evening before it turned to snow, kids had a good time. Went to Old Navy while in Amarillo. Sure hurt to see that old 3100 sittin there with all them shirts stacked around her. There ought to be a law against that. Not bad of a truck, 5 window, guess a 50 mod, no motor or tranny, and of course no gas tank. I think I heard the old gal tellin me (GET ME OUTA HERE) Of course when we checked out I told the purty little thang behind the checkout I wanted the truck, and she just grinned.Give me a holler or come over and we'll talk trucks, or even better work on'em. Sounds good Shelly, I just read your post on your new truck. You get them faster than I can go look at them. Have wrenches will travel. I am still a fair hand with that new welder you got if you need some welding. All my parts trucks are still sitting in water, so they are on hold. I managed to get the 48 out of the mud and am driving it today. I will get over there and get that cab soon. Any thoughts on how to load it? I think that if I build a skid out of 4x4's and bolt the cab to it, we can winch it up the ramps on my trailer. If the boom on your new truck works, problem solved. Take care and stay in touch.

im workin on sanding everthing down.. taking off the layers and layers of old paint.. good thing i dont really haverust holes...

also been beatin out the hood.. havnt been able to find another one for the old 61so im beatin out the old one, gettni ready to do some serious work on it..

oh yah and filling the holes drilled for hangin hooks and watnot

hey mike with a stepside, check in with hardy restoration about that 61 apache hood you need!

Spring has sprung here. I think we had the last gasp of winter last week (2-3 inches of snow) This coming spring and summer I'm going to redo my entire cooling system. I'm running one of those hard to cool 400 small blocks. I'll attempt this while trying to find time to finish residing my house.
