Have you had one of those months that your homeowners insurance is due? Then you remember the property tax bill is due at the same time? Then the clutch goes out on your wife's car? All in one month? Did I mention my back went out a month ago and it is getting worse?
If my life insurance was worth a dang thing....
nah...
What the heck can I sell quick.

It happens to everyone.
It tends to slow the truck building process though.
Top Ramen and Mac -n- Cheese.
Next month will be better.

Don't you know who I think I am?
I've been thinkin' about freaking out. If I could just find the time.

There is enough good in the worst of us and enough bad in the best of us that it does not behoove any of us to criticize the rest of us.

Well, we had our old Acura for sale for a while and now I have a serious bite. She is real smart too, when I told her I bought it new she asked: "Wow, so you are the original owner?"
"Yup," I replied, "and you could be the second."
Can't get anything passed this girl. Hope she buys it at 11AM Sunday.
grin

That reminds me of a story that will cheer you up.

This 30 year old guy in town restored a 48 Plymouth. He did a nice job. One day a cute 18 year old girl approaches him and asks "Is this cool car yours?" "Yes, it is!" he says proudly. Then she says, "Wow, did you buy it new?" I don't know what he response was but apparently his ego was more than a bit deflated that day.

I feel yer pain, Tony. I had to pay reg'lar insurance this month (I paid my Hagerty insurance last month) and to top it off, it's snowing. frown

But I console myself in the fact that all of my needs are met as are most of my wants...oh..and I survived quadruple bypass surgery 2 months ago. Now if I could just do something about that damned snow....

There was a day in 1976 when I had no foldin' money only the coins in my pocket....and a Broken back with a Dr induced drug dependency
I had my tools but couldn't use them.
Cleaned myself up....cold turkey and never looked back.....

Got my property tax bill a few days ago. Think I'll go pay it now and thank God my taint's still intact!
