(this is response to another's 'truck or me' post) :p :p :p
...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?
...Listen to me my son... all of you gather 'round tha' 'ol Steamroller....
...Let me impart a wee bit'o'wisdom...
1- My truck never, EVER, got cranky at 5:00 in the morning to go for a ride...
2- My truck never, EVER, got jealous when I threw an eyeball at another truck.
3- My truck never, EVER, got upset when I took ANOTHER truck out for a ride...
4- My truck never, EVER, asked me the popular (and loaded) question: "How do I look in this?" "Is my booty too big?" etc, etc, etc...
5- My truck never, EVER, asked me to go shopping...
...And while my truck never, EVER, would get me a beer...at least I don't have to worry about... gettin' hit wit' it, wink
Just a few random thoughts from your 'ol pal, Steamroller...
P.s. Should I ever decide to end the relationship... I don't have to lose half my garage and most of my tools!!!

The truck can get by with one set of shoes.
cool
The truck doesn't have to get it's roots done every week.
cool
The truck doesn't have "that time of month".
cool
If you want to go somewhere you don't have to talk the truck into it, just steer and go.
cool

when it hits 50!! Or, 45 for that matter!!

The Truck doesn't ask you to run to the store for a pair of "B Nude" nylons. eek Or, femanine

My truck never orders or picks up parts for itself.

My truck never smiles and gives me a hug when I arrive.

My truck has never offered me a cold beer.

My truck has never made my bed. In fact my truck has never been in my bed either.

I don't want to give up my truck(s) but I can't imagine life without my wife.

1.Both can go flat and get wrinkled.
2.With a little attention , they both keep going for ya.
3.Both have headlights you can mess with.
4.Both have heaters in the cold winter nights.
5.Both have soft seats.
6.Both can say"no dice" at any given time, for no apparant reason.
7. If your smart, you can steer both of them straight.
8. A good wife and truck always "vents" now and then.
9.With a little gas, they can both "putt" along quietly.
10.Both likes the weight of "oils" you pick out for them. wink

My wife understands this is all in jest.
She absolutely, positively, would never ask me to
get rid of my truck!! She knows how much enjoyment I get out of it. grin

My wife would leave me if I got rid of any of my "old" vehicles! Well, probably not unless it was the Corvette! grin Her only complaint is: When are you going to get this one or that one fixed up so I can drive it!
She's great! And I'm saying that even though she never looks at the Bolt (don't like computers)! :p grin grin

Women down here like sharp looking old trucks and sharp looking old men....As long as he has a job, that is.

Present wife watched me hospitalize a 26 year old after he grabbed her butt as I led her off the dance floor. I think that's when she fell in love with me. grin

Not only does my wife approve of my collecting, she points them out for me. She helps load them to bring them home, wanders the swap meets for hours with me and goes to all of the car shows with me. She is 5'7", 125lbs., jogs 5-10 miles a day, has a beautiful face and smile and a great sense of humor. From the sound of others, I've hit the jack pot (and I did!).
Good luck to the rest of you,
Scott
