She's coming right along. Some of these pics are big.

The engine is set a bit forward so work has stalled until we can find a fan that will fit between the radiator and the engine.

The 454 is eating up some space.

Looking good Steve. Don't know if it will work the same but on my 46 I ended up moving the rad to the front of the rad support. Now I have plenty of room

Looks awesome - nice bodywork smile

Why if it's a 454 are there 502 Valve covers? Did you just put em on there for looks? grin

When I bought the project, those were the covers on there -- I plan on getting rid of them for some new ones. smile

I actually haven't checked to see if it is a 502 --- the shop thinks it's a 454 based on some numbers. I'll get to verifying that eventually. There are so many other things to do to the ol' gal.

Could it be that someone punched it out to a 502?

I was going to suggest an electric fan, and if clearance is a problem, mounting it in front of the radiator.

I need to follow your progress, because I have a 454 for my AD panel. What is your front suspension clip?

That front end is from a Nova (so I was told). Most of this project was done before I bought it.

I'm just the unfortunate guy having most of it re-done.

I think the first person who chopped it did a fantastic job. Then I think the next owner went to redo it and messed it up.

Now I'm fixing his mistakes and putting my mark on it.

We are going with an electric fan. They are waiting for it to come in. I will post more pics as that gets installed.

I realize I'm not going to be pulling 9s in the 1/4 mile -- but she'll sound as good as she looks idling at the light. smile

Talk about bringing a thread back from the dead (which actually feels eerily similar to my truck building project)!

She's finally ready to come home after all of these years.

I drove her for the very first time two days ago. It's been what, six years?

Thanks guys. I can't believe I'm coming close to finishing her. A couple minor tweaks and she's ready for audio/interior.

Here are some build pictures, including the dash and some more full shots.
