I am deciding on what front end to do on my truck. I know the mustang 2 ifs will work well, but I have been told that newer front end lowering springs work really well, and are cheaper. I really like the look of the springs and would like to keep it pretty stock, except for lowering it and stiffening it up some. I know Patricks sells these, among others. What are people experiences with 'em.

I've got a Mustang II based IFS by Hiedts (sp).. It's got 11 inch camaro disk brakes.. kind of pricy ($2300), but worth it.

It does sit a lot lower than I would prefer tho, but it's got dropped spindles on it.

Another quality post.

Depends how you plan to drive it. My springs are stock and with radial tires my ride is really nice. You can also get a front end stabilizer bar which helps. Of course I never go above 45 mph.
