For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 16 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 16 | I am deciding on what front end to do on my truck. I know the mustang 2 ifs will work well, but I have been told that newer front end lowering springs work really well, and are cheaper. I really like the look of the springs and would like to keep it pretty stock, except for lowering it and stiffening it up some. I know Patricks sells these, among others. What are people experiences with 'em. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 3,445 Moderator - The Electrical Bay | | Moderator - The Electrical Bay Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 3,445 | I've got a Mustang II based IFS by Hiedts (sp).. It's got 11 inch camaro disk brakes.. kind of pricy ($2300), but worth it.
It does sit a lot lower than I would prefer tho, but it's got dropped spindles on it.

You can also get a front end stabilizer bar which helps. Of course I never go above 45 mph. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 104 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 104 | I will let you know about the springs ,just got them from patricks last week ,installing them tomorrow, on my 51,3100. old navy51................ | | |
