For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 112 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 112 | You all seem to understand us old truck nuts, so here goes. My dad gave my 3 year old son a 1949 Dodge pickup that has not run since 1967. I need websites to look at pitcures of trucks like "My dodge" as he calls it. I also need part sources. Is there a site like this one but dedicated to old dodges? He is only 3 but is a certified truck nut. If it makes you all feel beter, he also has whats left of his Great Grandfathers 53 GMC. Thanks for understanding. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 384 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 384 | Buddy of mine had one of those--comical truck. I like that boxy body. He rebuilt the flathead to the tune of $7500--took 3 years and I never thought he would get all the parts together. Truck never would go over 40--might want to consider a more modern power plant but your choice.
