Been playing at the old Jap Car, working, etc. Also been getting ready (trying to, anyway) for a BIG career change...Getting my head around the idea of being Daddy.  Well, early this morning, the journey began. My wife went in for unsceduled c-section surgery just after midnight and just after 1:00AM this morning gave birth to our twin daughters, Isabella Mary and Mackenzie Anna (she's the little one  ). Wannabe's three ladies were doing quite well when I left the Hospital at around 4:30 this morning, I'm heading up again after lunch to spend some time there. Being in that O.R. when the babies were delivered was, without question, the best day of my life-EVER. I wasn't sure about doing it, but I'm so glad now that I was there. Just wanted to give y'all an update, gonna be busy for awhile, maybe not around much. Still thinking of all you great people here, though (AND dreaming of The Dream AD). Fatherhood is the best thing in the world in my opinion. Even when my son is being, well, a two year old. I hope your wife heals quickly and the two youngin's make it home shortly.

Both are doing quite well. The little one was bright-eyed and aware right from the get-go, while the bigger one was a little sleepy (kinda like Dad and Mom). Phil-Thanks much for the kind thoughts. Fatherhood is awesome. I only have my one boy but we're about as close as can be and its almost always great. It gives your life purpose, ya know? Truck hopes and dreams on hold for a while I imagine but thats ok. You're gonna be too busy anyway.

Would have checked in sooner, but no 'net connection @ 'Shwa General and I been WAY too busy, anyway. Sleep is great, trying to grab it on the fly when I can (usually come morning) cause I want to help my wife so she can rest, she did all the hard stuff, carrying, going through surgery, etc. What a trooper, I'm about the luckiest man alive to have a wife this strong and levelheaded. The name game actually has been going on the last couple of months, with a growing list on the fridge door. The oldest girl (Isabella) was Mom's name pick, While I liked Mackenzie (never thought of the historic P.M., though! ). Their second names come from our maternal Grandmothers, Mary is mine, while Anna is Corinne's. Trucks, cars, so on, I know all that stuff takes the backseat, now. My girls (all four, if I count my cat ) are now top priority. Going back to work next week and leaving them will be hard. It's funny, I first came here 'cause this place was about trucks. I keep coming now for the fantastic acquaintences I've made here. It it, truly, the people that make this place and I thank you, one and all, for being such a phenominal group and sharing a little piece of your lives here. In short, y'all are THE BEST . Congratulations ! It is quite a journey from here, watching them discover their world! My advice, take lots and lots of pictures, or better still, videos. Some day you will be empty nesters like us, and that is a big shock!
