The only place the vin was installed was on the plate, under the hood on the cab, passenger side.
Stand on the passenger side of your truck, look at the back end of the hood, lower. Fred-- P.O. is trying to find an old reg or some paper work with vin on it. In Maine I will be able to licence. it with the motor number and bill of sale. The vin would tell me what it realy is I think new it was an 8 passanger suburban carryall? It has the wrong beanch seat in front no rear seats but all 6 side windows have handles to crank them up and down.Wood back floor barn rear doors with small oval windows a 4 speed trans. There must be different models I see photos of 40s with head lights on fender and with them mounted to side off radiator support/grill support like the one I have?
