I dont like running with the stock one for now. I would like to change over to a double chamber for safety reasons. Which one workes on the 66 with the least trouble of hooking up.

Split the lines down by the tee down by the starter. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 141 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 141 | I don't know about the master cyl, but if you want discs up front without spending a ton of cash on one of the conversion kits out there, find a '73-'85 chevy half ton and swap the entire crossmember; it bolts right in.
Check out my website; I chronicled the swap I did on my '64. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 75 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 75 | You can use the dual master cyl off of a full size chevy car and it will bolt to the two hole that are across from each other and you put the other two bolts back in to holed everything inside together, that how i got a dual master cyl on my 63 c10 that had one cyl for all four brakes and you will needed a proportioning valve, the one I used was from a 76 caprice with front disk brakes.
