Of course, another option is to convert to a wood or coal burning system: Producer Gas for Motor Vehicles

Of course, if you go that route, you may need to convert your teardrop trailer to a coal car grin

Jeff, enthanol is a poor motor fuel, takes about 2.4 times more than gasoline to get the energy, and makes an engine difficult to start in cold weather.Methanol has more BTU's than ethanol, but same draw backs, and ya can't drink methanol grin

Hey Jeff, I shudder to think what the EPA would want to see for smog control on a coal or wood burning system!

Alternative fuels--yes!

If you don't understand why the retail (pump) price of a product changes to meet the increased price of the raw material (crude oil, in the case of gasoline and diesel) read Economics 101.

The economic law is called "Replacement Cost" and it applies to all retailers. It is linked up with unit costs, marginal costs and the cost of the next unit of product available--in addition to supply and demand.

Other economic rules:

Drive less and pay less for fuel.

Use less fuel (drive efficiently by letting the other guy beat you to the next red light).

Sell or push the Hummer!

Here in Europe Diesel costs a lot the benz costs almost US$70 to fill but in Germany it's well over $100 US$1.32-1.40 per LTR x 4 to get a gallon!

Remember the average real wage in Poland is about $450 per month....you can see the fix these people are in

We do have it real good in the US

Yes there is for sure greed but it's not breakin' our backs yet

Going up fast indeed.......Diesel 2.19 a few days ago, now 2.24-2.30 range in SW FL. I'm at the point where I'm not concerned with it getting cheaper. I just wish it would stop going higher.

Just a thought, I know gas is high and I dont like it but when I was seventeen I had to work hard for one hour to buy two gallons of gas. How much can you buy now for one hour of hard work?

It has been posted earlier but we are paying a lot more up here in Canada. The sad thing is there is no competition among dealers. On a corner with 4 gas stations you can watch them all raise their prices to the same amount at the exact time. The government was forced into investigating price fixing but they declared it wasn't happening. Maybe it is because we have "free" medicare. NOT! I wouldn't wish medicare like we have on anyone.

Sorry, but I have to say that.

You folks live in a gasoline dumping price country.

Here in Germany we pay betwwen $4,80 and $5 a Gallon!

It is not the oil price what makes it that expensive it is the 80% tax on gas.

Manny greetings from sunny southern Germany, Frank

I think I posted this links earlyer alredy here in the forum.

http://www.condensator.com/

http://www.agsint.com/cond.htm
http://www.eagle-research.com/fuelsav/ecarb.html
http://www.wyominginstruments.com/gas_home.htm
http://www.hydrogen-boost.com/tech-info.html

Most of them devices work on two principals.
1. Better vaporisation for better milage
2. Bring back unburned fuel to the engine

Both sounds good to me.

Has anyone experiance with this stuff or is it all Snake Oil Products?

This site sells no devices but was a real eye opener.
