This is one post I'll be watching! I need to replace mine this summer. I've got the welder, now I just need to but the C25 and run a few practice welds.
Honestly, if you take your time measure three times before you cut and are comfortable with your welder - should be to big a deal.
Got stalled on the cutting part. Bought a Dremmel from Harbour Fr., used it 30 min..clutch went out on it...brought it back..got another..used it fir 10 min...clutch went out on it...threw it across the street..
Hey Here's a tip take out your inner fire wall cover so it doesn't catch on fire. Guess you found that out. If you want to cut metal use a die grinder and a cut off wheel. Works great for grinding welds too.
I was just out grinding some high spots on the weld around the face plate..that s... is tuff as hell to grind down. Its coming along good though. Its gonna be great when i can put all my knobs on and Finally paint the interior...wont be long now.Except i have to buy a new inner fire wall cover...ha ha ha
I was on Vacation...Finally, I am going to Grind the dash panel today, then run some bondo to smooth it out a bit, I promise,,pics are on the way,,,M/G
