Everything looks pretty straight-forward, except the windlace kit. My truck had no interior except the springs, so I can't even rely on my failing memory. The kit came with four pieces of windlace, the longer two are obviously to install under the moulding around the door openings. The two shorter (44") pieces I suppose go under the moulding around the top of the doors.

Not sure if you got your cab sealed up yet, but if not, the two short pieces (at least on a 46) go between the rocker panel and the cab. The top of my rockers had a little slot for holding the windlace. The doors on my truck even had a little line worn across the bottom of them from the seal rubbing on them all those years.
The long pieces went around the door opening and between the dash and the door frame. The door stops have to be installed before you install the windlace, holddown strips and kick panels.

Checked out you photos...NICE '46! | | | | | Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 975 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 975 | lobo, Back to front might be easier to explain..The windlace starts at the bottom rear of the cab at the door opening, goes up the cab, around the top of the door opening, down the front pillar, around the dash and then down to the bottom of the front of the door opening. On my 46, there is a strip that holds the kick plate and the windlace in place. The windlace kind of snakes past the dash on my 46... Hard to explain... Click on this link and it will show how it goes past the dash.
